NOTE: We are making adjustments to how we worship, serve, and learn.
Food Pantry will be held Tuesday, 4/7, from 4:30 to 6:30. We are taking coronavirus precautions to keep everyone safe. Food is available for anyone living, working, or worshiping in the Anthony Wayne school district. If you have a food emergency, contact us.
We are collecting single-serve portions of non-perishable fruits and “main dishes” (mac-n- cheese, pasta, etc.) to include in weekend food its for AW students at risk for hunger. (Please, no perishable items. We have plenty of chips, cookies, etc.) Please place donations in the storage container near the door in our parking lot, and then contact us to let us know it’s there (so we can make sure it goes to students and not to critters!).
Sunday worship services will be available online. Please click on the “Online Worship” link. The service will available for one week. Sermons are also available in written and video forms on the “Sermons” page.
Palm Sunday, 4/5: Online Worship Service
Holy (Maundy) Thursday, 4/9: Online Meditation
Good Friday, 4/10: Online “Virtual Tennebrae” service. This “service of shadows” recalls Christ’s
Passion through music and scripture.
Easter, 4/12: Join us for an experimental Easter Communion service via teleconference in our
parking lot. Arrive in our parking lot no later than 10:15. Bring your fully-charged cell phone
(it doesn’t have to be a smart phone), your car charger if you want it, and enough bread and
juice for everyone in your car (for Communion). You will be given a number to call and
meeting ID to enter. Turn on your speakerphone and we will worship together from the
safety of our cars. Decorate your car to add a festive touch to our service!
Please continue to check our web site or office phone, or “like” our Facebook page, for updates as we grow into this new way of worshiping. The congregation at Zion is keeping all in prayer as we move through this difficult time together.

Service Projects for Lent:
“Create In Me a Clean Heart”: As we pray and strive for clean hearts during Lent, we will help the residents of Toledo’s Family House have clean bodies and a clean home. We will be collecting cleaning supplies and personal grooming items throughout Lent. Family House is a shelter for homeless families. Learn more about Family House and see a list of urgently needed items here.
“Lunchbox Collection”: As we are nourished at the Lord’s table, lunch boxes will be available for offerings which will help pay off the unpaid lunch account for the Anthony Wayne School District.
