Now through mid-November, Operation Christmas Child: We are collecting small toys, personal items (such as socks, underwear, and hygiene products) for the OCC shoeboxes.  Financial assistance is also welcome to defray the cost of shipping the boxes overseas. (Please, no candy or toothpaste per OCC rules.)  A group of our members also travels to the OCC distribution center to prepare donations for shipping around the world.  Please contact us if you would like more information about the trip.

Wednesdays after school, Tutoring Assistance Program (TAP).  Read more about TAP here.  Contact the church for more information about enrolling your child or becoming a tutor.

1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month, 10 a.m. – noon: Food Pantry is open to all Anthony Wayne School District residents.

Wednesday, 10/18, 5-6 p.m.: TAP students and their families are invited to stay for dinner with us.  Free!  Give yourself a night off from cooking and doing the dishes!  (Next dinner: 11/15)

Monday, 10/23, 9:30 a.m., Bible Study begins for Sunbeam moms and caregivers: “Beautiful Mess” is a 6-week study to help each mom discover (or remember) that she is the mom God chose for her children, and she is a beautiful mom.  Led by Pastor Carol.

Sunday, 10/8, after worship: Our monthly “carry-in” (pot-luck) lunch. All are invited to join us after the service.

Tuesday, 10/31, 6-8 p.m., Halloween! Stop by during Trick-or-Treat to warm up with marshmallow toasting and other treats. We’ll have the fire going and the marshmallows and toasting sticks ready on the south end of the church (Maumee Street).

Thursday, 11/2, 4:40-7:00 p.m.:  Fall Ham and Turkey Dinner–a Zion UMC Tradition!  $8.00 for adults, $3.00 for children under 10 gets you a delicious dinner with all the trimmings!
